What we set, and why
Under the UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR, regulation 6), we only place non-essential cookies with your consent. Until you accept, Google Analytics runs in a signal-only mode that does not store cookies on your device.

hoodu.io (localStorage, not a cookie) | Remembers your accept/decline choice so we don’t show the banner again | Until cleared | No — strictly necessary |
Consent Mode v2
We use Google’s Consent Mode v2 with all advertising and analytics signals defaulted to denied. When you accept, only analytics_storage is flipped to granted. We do not enable ad_storage, ad_user_data, or ad_personalization, and we do not run Google Ads, remarketing, or any advertising cookies on this site.
IP addresses passed to Google Analytics are anonymised.
Legal basis
- Consent (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); PECR reg. 6) for analytics cookies.
- Legitimate interests (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) for the strictly necessary local storage item that remembers your consent choice.
You can withdraw consent at any time using the control below, or by clearing site data in your browser.
